	Also Known As: BAY LEAVES Product Info: Bay Leaves (Laurus nobilis) are the leaves from the Bay Evergreen Tree that is commonly found in the Mediterranean region, though originally the tree was probably from Asia minor. Bay Leaves were used across the ancient world. In Greece and Rome Bay Leaves were used to make crowns of Laurel for athletes and poets. Suggested Use: Bay leaves are often used in Bouquet Garni (a bundle of herbs tied together and removed before serving). Bay leaves are wonderful in soups, pasta sauce, baked with potatoes or cooked with fish. Remove before serving. Ingredients: Bay leaves. Basic Preparations: Ready to use, just add directly to recipe.
