Product Info:
Cellophane Noodles, also referred to as Bean Thread or Transparent noodles. These Noodles are made from Mung Beans instead of Grain Flour. These are delicate, almost flavorless Noodles used in China and Japan. Bean Thread Noodles are added to soups, braised dishes, deep fried or used as a garnish. Once the Noodles have soaked they become soft, springy and translucent. These Noodles are popular in vegetarian dishes because they are a vegetable product. When they are fried these Noodles puff up and become very white and crispy allowing for use as a bed for stir fried dishes.

Suggested Use:
Cellophane Noodles can be added to soups or braised dishes or deep fried and used as a garnish.

Ingredients:
Peas, Mung Beans, and Water.

Basic Preparations:
Soak noodles in hot water for 5 minutes (rather than boiling). These noodles are rather long, so it may be helpful to cut them into shorter lengths after soaking. If the noodles are going to be fried, do not soak the noodles. When frying, you need to separate the noodles.
