	Also Known As: CHIPOTLE IN ADOBO SAUCE Product Info: Chipotle in adobo sauce is a canned product made of chipotle chiles, tomato, vinegar, vegetables,oil and spices. Chipotles are smoked jalapeno chiles. The word "Chipotle" translates to "Smoked Chile". This gives them a unique hot-smoky flavor which is popular in many Southwestern dishes. These peppers are about 1-1/2 to 3 inches in length and have a deep reddish brown color. Consider the Chipotle a 6.5 on a scale of 1-10. These chipotle chiles are packed into a tomato based sauce named adobo. Suggested Use: Chipotle in adobo is a wonderful addition to many recipes.
