	Product Info: Cubebs are the unripe fruits of a plant belonging to the pepper family. Cubebs are also known as tailed pepper because the berries retain their stems, 'tails', after harvesting. Cubebs have a warm, tupentine-like aroma with a hot, bitter taste, similar to allspice. Cubebs are best known for their medicinal qualities in the East. Suggested Use: Cubebs can be used in spice mixtures and in Indonesian cuisines. They can be added to any dish in place of allspice. Try cubeb berries in your next meat or vegetable dish. Ingredients: cubeb berries. Basic Preparations: Use whole, ground, or crushed. Add to recipe as called for.
