These nuts have a fuzzy outer husk that opens once it is ripened exposing another smooth, hard shell. The Hazelnut has a brown skin that can be removed prior to use. Hazelnuts are rich in B Vitamins and C and E. They are a good source of protein. The Hazelnut MEAL is made from grinding partially skinned nuts and has a savory, sweet flavor. This MEAL is a free-flowing powder replacer that acts as a binding agent or flavor enhacer to bakery good, fillings, snacks, and gluten-free health orientated foods. Suggested Use: Hazelnut meal adds richness and depth to desserts which is unmatchable. Mix in as part of the necessary flour or substitute for all of the flour.
